Our team is led by RefugeRoot’s co-founders, Satya Wallin and Constant Sossoulo, whose complementary life experiences shape the heart of the mission. Satya brings a deeply child-centered vision, informed by her personal journey and nearly two decades of work with young children in Sweden. Constant brings strategic leadership, project planning, and a strong commitment to sustainable, practical solutions, shaped by both lived experience and his work in project management and administration. Together, they guide RefugeRoot with compassion, accountability, and a shared commitment to protecting vulnerable children and building lasting change.
