Satya Wallin lives in Sweden, where she has spent nearly 20 years working as a preschool and kindergarten teacher. Adopted from India and raised in Sweden from the age of five, she carries a personal understanding of how early care, stability, and a sense of belonging can shape a child’s life.

Her daily work supporting children’s learning, emotional well-being, safety, and healthy development informs her service with RefugeRoot. She contributes a thoughtful, child-centred perspective to the organization’s efforts to protect and nurture vulnerable children.
