Constant Sossoulo’s commitment to RefugeRoot is rooted in lived experience. Raised in poverty by parents who had no access to education, he grew up seeing how quickly hardship can limit a child’s options—and how powerful opportunity becomes when someone is given real support, guidance, and a chance to learn.
Today, Constant brings that conviction into both his professional and humanitarian work. He is a Professor at a public CEGEP in Montréal, teaching project management and administration. This background shapes RefugeRoot’s approach: thoughtful planning, clear governance, measurable outcomes, and programs designed to last—not only to respond to urgent needs, but to build stability that communities can sustain.
At RefugeRoot, Constant focuses on translating compassion into practical systems—strengthening food security, supporting vulnerable children, and building pathways to dignified livelihoods through accountable, long-term initiatives.
