On August 31, RefugeRoot will meet with representatives of the Commune of Kpomassè to select the first 20 widows who will participate in the Mothers of Courage project.

This important meeting follows our conversations with 98 widows from Sègbohouè and Agonkanmè. The committee will carefully review the candidates’ circumstances, family responsibilities, current activities and aspirations.

The women selected will move to the next stage of the project, which aims to provide practical training and support to help them strengthen their livelihoods and care for their children with greater stability and dignity.
