Armel Ametonou is an agricultural technician and the on-site lead for RefugeRoot’s Kpokissa Farm. He oversees day-to-day operations, including land preparation, planting cycles, harvest planning, and the practical coordination of farm activities to ensure consistent results.

With a strong focus on sustainability and local best practices, Armel works to improve productivity while protecting soil health and reducing waste. His role is central to RefugeRoot’s mission in Benin: turning agriculture into a reliable source of nourishment and dignified livelihoods for vulnerable children and families.
